It's the news, omg.

Hello all, how are you all? I'm sorry I haven't been on DA for a long while now, but truth is that my life has been a real mess the last months. School really kicked me in the teeth, and I didn't get what I wanted from it. I also have myself to blame, since I could have worked so much harder. I've had some pretty rough weeks where I've cried myself to sleep, and been numb. But now, things seem to look better. Sort of.

I will start on a new school in August, thing is that this is a school in my old town. Which means that I will be living at home, with my parents, for one year. It's not something I'm very proud of, to be 23 years old and live with my parents, but truth is that it seems like the best choice for me now. I'm going to study interior and exhibitdesign, and next year I will move over to something similiar to graphic design, media etc. I really hope this will be the course for me. I'm tired of wasting so much time on subjects I don't even find interesting.

So, that means that I'm moving my stuff back home. My dad is kind enough to let me paint my room, so at the moment I'm painting furnitures and later I will paint the room itself. Kinda like a fresh start. I hope things will be better once I start at school.

Also, to you people who have commissioned me, both the 20$ busts and the regular commissions - I am so so grateful that you've been so patient with me all. I truly appreciate it. I haven't been able to draw at all these months, my life's been a mess. But, since I don't have a job this summer, I want to get the commissions finished and sent of to all of you.

Sorry for my long absence, I hope to update with art some time soon.

Being 23 and living with your parents isn't a bad thing. I just means your going through hard times and have great parents that care about you and understand that you need some help for a little while.

I hope life continues to get better for you, I can't wait to start seeing your beautiful artwork in my watched page again!!

Oh thank goodness, i thought that you'd fallen ill or something hon!

I'm sorry to hear about School and such - i think everyone can understand how much it hurts when things don't always go to plan <3 But the main thing is that you're alive and well and having a (by the sounds of it) much needed fresh start

Too bad that school's kicked you in the teeth, but don't underestimate the power of a new start! I suggest instead of packing everything, take the time to sort out some stuff to chuck - getting rid of excess clutter always gives a lift!

Sorry life has been rough for you lately but hopefully this new year will be better. There's no shame in having to move in with the parents. Lot's of people are negative about it but with the economy in the state it's in, some people have no other choice, whether its for school or just because they've fallen on hard times. It's not as if you're doing it merely to mooch, you have an honest and sincere reason and are trying to better your future.
