I have no idea what this is. :B

I wanted to try something just a bit different. I realize that I'm getting mighty tired of manga inspired art, I really want to try something more realistic mixed with abstract elements. Mangacrap won't get me anywhere. Even though this picture still is a bit manga-ish, I think her face is more realistic than any of my previous drawings.

Also, heavily inspired by the wonderful Gustav Klimt.

And please, don't tell me I need mature content for a nipple. -3-

:bulletblack: Letraset ProMarkers, Staedtler pigment liner 0.05, Hahnemühle Nostalgie paper, Winsor and Newton watercolours and Plakkaatverf Goache.
:bulletblack: Character and image belongs to me.

Oh this is lovely, and I quite like the pattern you used and how you let the skeleton show through. It's very well done. The coloring is marvelous as always too. Keep up the great work, dear! :aww:

this is so different than what you usually do! i think this is an awesome direction to go in. I had a similar 'identity crisis' kind of problem with my art a while ago too.

Weeeee! Look at you trying something different!
I absolutely LOVE the shape of her face and that nose is BEAUTIFUL! Such a gorgeous side profile!

The ribcage looks wonderful and I love the shape of her scapula! It's so nice to see something anatomical accurate, but beautiful at the same time! The warm colours look simply beautiful!
Did drawing all those tiny squares not send you DOTTY? |D The detail is this is gorgeous. Your subject is lovely too (The one thing I didn't like about Klimt was that I found his subjects very.. plain idk)

My only crit is the lower part of her inner ear! I think the lower crevice should be slightly less towards her cheek and further out, but otherwise it looks fantastic. I never know how you get your paint splatters in such neat lines C:

Lovely work hon!

Agh, thank you so much sweetie! :la:
The BG wasn't too bad really, I was watching Monty Python while I did it - so strangely enough I kept my sanity. :XD:
Thanks for the critique too! ^^ Love you sweetheart, have a nice day!
