Commission for *Alexagirlie!

She wanted me to draw a bust of her sweet character Alexia, in a kimono. And that was mostly it, she left most of the details to me, which I like 'cause I can make it work my own way. x3 I had very very much fun with this, and I've always loved working with mainly blues. I really do like how her kimono turned out too. The BG was some fancy paper I bought at Panduro some days ago, and I thought now that it would suit Alexia. :3

you'd almost think with those two strong colours together it would make for a displeasing combination, but it is really really satisfying <3 I absolutely love her face & the sort of proud & sassy feeling she has about her.

Really pretty character aside, I think it's neat how you used the paper in the back ground.
I know it's a commission, so it's nice to add some things extra for the person, plus it looks cool.

WO! the hair is THE EXACT opposite of mine. Basically the smae shade of blue too, mie's just on top of my head witht he black underneath. She's beautifully done!
